Diary, it is getting late. The hunger is tearing me apart. I must kill that old lady; but I'm just falling apart. My stomach hurts. My eyes burn and the headache I have won't go away. I feel like I am slowly become him. When I look in the mirror, he smiles back at me. When I fall asleep, he forces me stay up. He won't let me eat; he won't let me do anything but write.
My fingers are dripping in blood. My eyes are dripping with tears. My head is dripping in sweat. My mind is dripping with insanity. The walls drip with words.
I know everything. I feel everything. I don't know when this started but it must have been when he killed Sarah. I broke into two people. At first I was the innocent one until he slowly forced his hunger into my mind. Over the years I controlled it pretty well. I only killed two women in college. After that it was usually wives or young single women who had easy routines. I killed them to keep him and his hunger back.
I knew one day I would get caught, I never really tried to stop it. I think wanted to get caught but I never did. I'm a murderer. His hunger has finally devoured me. I'm the monster, not him. He only killed Sarah. I killed all the others.
The old lady will die and so will I. Only the hunger will be left.

Investigative / Crime Scene Summary Report:
On 8/21/88 at or around 2030 hrs I responded to 614 Huckle Lane in reference to a homicide.
9-1-1/Dispatch advised the female caller, identified as Vanessa Geller (witness), reporting that she witnessed a murder. Geller stated she walked up the stairs on the third floor and saw a cigarette burning a hole in front of Telez Murphy's apartment, apartment 32. Her phone call was cut off before more information was given.
Upon arrival, myself and Officer Milton Shandley, slowly proceeded up the stairs with our firearms drawn. The lights in the building were out. The only light came from the windows at each end of the hall. We approached the apartment and called out to Geller. We were told that all the occupants were still in the building. We called out to Murphy but got no reply. We entered the apartment and found Murphy's body lying on the floor with no pulse or life signs. We proceeded to check the other apartments before sending up a medical crew.
9-1-1-/Dispatch informed us that Geller was in apartment 34. We stated our presence and got no response. We heard a loud thud across the hall in apartment 33. We approached the door. Officer Shandley knocked and called out our presence. The door was unlocked and we made our way into the room.
The floor was littered with paper and there was writing all over the walls and windows. A woman, later identified as Geller, lay on the floor. Todd Casil (suspect) hunched over a table writing furiously into a book. We called several times to him, but he didn't respond till Officer Shandley grabbed his left arm. He turned and put a pencil through Officer Shadley's neck. I fired my weapon twice into his chest. I called for backup and a medical team. I approached Casil's body.
I was knocked unconscious and when I woke a member of the medical team stared back at me. The rest of the medical team surrounded Officer Shandley. Geller and Casil were both missing.
